Watching at home in Canada, future WWE Universal Champion couldn't wait to see one of his favourite wrestlers debut in the company. Even though he had school the very next morning, none other than Kevin Owens decided to stay up late to watch Jericho's big debut. Fast-forward all these years and both men are working together on Monday Night Raw today.

This was a story told to The Mirror by KO during an appearance designed to promote WWE's upcoming tour of the UK. Staying up long past his bedtime, Owens would watch Raw weekly on TSN in Canada. Even though the show didn't start until midnight on the channel, there was no way Kevin was missing his hero's debut showing.

Estimating that Jericho's appearance took place at approximately 1am, Owens said that staying up late was a regular occurrence for him to watch wrestling. There's something legitimately cool about the thought of KO waiting up late to watch Jericho, a man who would go on to become his tag-team partner almost 17 years later.
