By far one of the most outspoken and forthright ex-WWE stars around, Ryback is regularly willing to throw mud at the WWE machine on his Conversations With The Big Guy podcast. Most recently, he recalled Vince McMahon's backstage apology for a storyline that made Ryback look less like an intimidating bully and more like a wimp.

Due to enter a feud with Chris Jericho in the Summer of 2013, Ryback found himself out of the title picture and reimagined as a bully-boy who cried foul when the tables were turned on him. McMahon's grand idea was to have Y2J capitalise on Ryback begging The Miz for forgiveness in an earlier match and run with the name 'Cryback'.

Later, Vince pinned down Ryback backstage and told him the story had been his mistake. Looking back, this is where the wheels fell off Ryback's push, although there's also an argument to be made for his feud-ending loss to John Cena at Payback hurting him too.
