10 Wrestling Fan Complaints That Absolutely Suck

6. "Kenny Omega Isn't A Draw"

OMEGA DRAW

This take - this factually incorrect take - has bubbled beneath the swamp of Wrestling Twitter because Jim Cornette doesn't like Kenny Omega and many of Cornette's followers regurgitate his opinions, using his exact double cheeseburger terminology as, all the while, Cornette also loathes those who cosplay and they can't ascertain the irony. They are cosplaying as Jim Cornette.

Jesus Christ.

Kenny Omega is a draw.

It's impossible to look at the state of Ring Of Honor prior to and after Kenny Omega left and claim he isn't a draw. The company did record live business with Omega's main events, and now, after reaching 6,100 in 2018 for Omega vs. Cody, attendances have plummeted to embarrassing three-figure ghost towns.

Kenny Omega's match with Chris Jericho at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 drove a considerable spike in NJPW World subscriptions. All In happened in no small part as a result of Omega's popularity. NJPW has experienced growth year-on-year for the last decade; they wouldn't have strapped Omega, thus ending that Kazuchika Okada reign, were he not a draw. AEW's tremendous PPV gates are driven by Omega.

Kenny Omega is a draw. Kenny Omega is among the last proven draws, in fact, as wrestling heads into the indiscernible stream.
