10 Wrestling Feuds That Will NEVER End

4. CM Punk Vs. WWE

Brock Lesnar Chris Jericho
AEW/WWE

Punk was very careful to point out that his surprising WWE Backstage appearances in 2019 were due to a deal with FOX, not Vince McMahon. That's for the best, because nobody wanted his first official company showings since 2014 to be on some crummy 'C' level talk show.

LiveWire, this wasn't. Christ, it was barely even Talking Smack.

Speaking of which, Punk has talked a lot of smack about WWE since departing 24 hours after exhausting himself in the 2014 Royal Rumble match. McMahon probs thought he'd lure Punk back into his midst someday, but then that lil' rebel with the Pepsi tattoo had to go and sign with WWE's main competition.

Few saw that AEW contract coming ahead of time, and it must've angered dudes like Vince and Triple H over in Stamford. Trips is actually a bigger part of the story than this entry suggests - he and Punk don't see eye-to-eye. They never have and they never will.

AEW is CM Punk's future, not WWE.
