7. Kane's Unmasking

23 June 2003 was one of the most important moments in Kane's career, as 'The Big Red Machine' was forced to remove the mask that had hidden his supposedly disfigured face from the world since his debut six years prior. It came after losing his feud with Triple H, and sent the monster on a psychotic streak, creating some of the absolute best work of his career... until WWE had him jump the shark with an awful Undertaker feud leading into WrestleMania XX.

Though it was the first time Kane had willingly removed his red and black veil, eagle-eyed fans had actually seen the 'Demon' unmasked three years prior at SummerSlam 2000, when The Undertaker tore it off during a match between the two.

They were working the pre-main event. It got super heated, and after missing 'Taker with the ring steps, Kane nailed a low blow. Undertaker's retaliation was swift, though, and he tore the mask away after cutting through his kayfabe brother with a Spear, prompting Kane to flee, thus bringing the match to an end.

Here he is in all his glory.
