Whether as a fat white guy with a mohawk portraying a gang member, or a fat white guy in an Afrocentric fez and dashiki portraying an African, George Gray was a superstar performer in the WWF. He primarily wrestled Hogan and Savage, and served as a great top-level heel for the better part of 1987-1990. However, whether it be his girth or his now hackneyed presentation, the idea of Vince and company pushing an athletic and believable 400-pounder who wore his weight well, but was still weighty, is hard to imagine. That's unfortunate.
