It’s amazing just how much blood the undead come packing isn’t it?

Like most zombie horrors, The Deadman of WWE knows how to bring the gore. From Hell in a Cell to Inferno matches to boiler room brawls, Mean Mark’s done everything to put himself and his foes through hell. His ultraviolent wars with the likes of Mick Foley, Brock Lesnar and Triple H have pushed the boundaries of what WWE will let their wrestlers get away with over the years.

Most infamous of all is Big Evil’s clash with Brock Lesnar at No Mercy 2002. The first of their 2 Hell in a Cell wars, the match came on the show that featured the conclusion of the rather unfortunate Katie Vick angle. Fortunately for everyone who knows anything about that tale, Lesnar and Taker rocked the house with one of the most dramatic Cell matches in history, allowing everyone to dwell on it instead of Vick afterwards.

Taker, Lesnar and even Heyman on the outside all wind up with claret faces before this one’s over. Taker however, was on another level after Lesnar squashed his face with the steel steps. Redder than Hellboy, Taker reminded us all why he’s the toughest man round these parts when he fought Lesnar to near death anyway.
