10 Wrestling Matches That Ruled With Builds That Sucked

6. Chris Harris Vs James Storm (TNA Sacrifice 2007)

For a feud that started well and ended magnificently, Chris Harris Vs James Storm will forever wear the scars of a Lockdown disaster that threatened to derail it all.

America's Most Wanted were one of TNA's first homegrown success stories before Storm broke a beer bottle over Harris' head, severing ties forever. After four years, the blood feud emerging from the wreckage needed a bloody payoff, particularly after the glass was said to have caused temporary blindness for Harris. 'The Wildcat' had been betrayed and very nearly blinded by 'The Cowboy'. In promos, Harris said he had 30% vision, which is only slightly more than the booking team had when they decided to run a disastrous blindfold steel cage match as the grand pay-per-view showdown.

The dodgy props made a mockery of their hatred, with both having to be held back multiple times to sort issues with the blindfold hoods. They weren't the only things that fell off. The feud turned ice cold thanks to the cage catastrophe, with Sacrifice's Texas Deathmatch finale deserving extra credit for clawing back the credibility and animosity almost lost for good along the way.
