When Brock Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012, his first match back came against a very game John Cena. The two had one of the most brutal matches in recent company history, with blood and danger aplenty. Two years later, they met at SummerSlam, and fans were left equally shocked by just how one-sided Lesnar's rout of Cena was.

There were expectations of a third classic between the men at the 2015 Royal Rumble, but when The Authority added Seth Rollins to the bout, it looked to screw up the dynamic. After all, as the two most-protected men in the company, Cena and Lesnar gave the match a "big-fight" feel, but Rollins - for all his talent - was playing an undeserving weasel. It looked like a mistake.

There was no reason to fret. Seth Rollins - who pulled out all of the stops in possibly his best WWE performance - was the perfect addition to the match, playing a spoiler for both Cena and Lesnar and nearly stealing victory on more than one occasion. 'The Architect' nearly took Brock out of the match after an elbow drop through the announcers' table, but 'The Beast' came back to pin Rollins, ending a wild brawl.
