10 Wrestling Matches Too Horrible For WWE To Air

9. Christian Vs. Bradshaw

When: 30 October 2001 (SmackDown).

What Happened: Christian was set to defeat Bradshaw for the bargain bin European Title on the 30 October 2001 SmackDown. The match was taped on the Tuesday, and it was supposed to air later in the week, but the then-WWF cut it from broadcasts (both domestically and internationally).

Officially, this was done due to time constraints. If that sounds weird for a title switch, then good - it should. Surely the promotion could've bumped something less-important from the show and let Christian have his moment? That's why it makes sense to believe that they just weren't happy with the quality of the match overall and thus decided to trash it.

Christian even bitched about being edited off SmackDown during a promo on the following week's Raw. It cannot have done much for his confidence to learn that a championship victory wasn't even good enough for television. He was mid-push at the time too.
