10 Wrestling Matches We Need To See On AEW TV
1. Jon Moxley Vs. Kenny Omega
Another man who is glad he didn’t leave wrestling is Jon Moxley. The resurgence he has had after leaving WWE has been nothing short of revolutionary. Tearing it up in 2019, Moxley kicked all this off at Double or Nothing with his post-match attack on Kenny Omega.
That is why this had to make the list after Moxley wasn’t able to compete at All Out. Weirdly enough, this could be a blessing in disguise. This match being absent gave breathing room for the main event and made fans anticipate this great feud even more.
Kenny added fuel to the fire with his cutting promos after the match’s cancellation. Stating he “could really give a s**t” if Moxley came back and that he “got a boo-boo” whilst mock crying. This blurring the line of face and heel speaks to the intensity this feud should bring out of both men.
And with plenty of time to let this fester in fans’ minds, this could be an excellent way to capture viewers for TNT television. The hype surrounding this will only grow, and AEW has to know that. Thusly it should be a big part of the show for some time once the first Wednesday of October has come and gone.
A paradigm shift is defined as a fundamental change in approach or underlying assumptions. And the type of wrestling this feud will eventually give the world certainly lives up to that definition.
