10 Wrestling Matches You Won't Believe Happened In 2014
4. Erick Rowan vs. Big Show - Stairs Match (WWE TLC 2014)
"Hey man, I hate you so much that I want to take these ring steps apart and swing them at you..." said nobody ever in the history of pro wrestling. However, in an attempt to freshen up the offerings for WWE's December 2014 TLC Pay-Per-View, it was determined that ex-Wyatt Family member and brand-new babyface Erick Rowan should wrestle The Big Show in a match where swinging the "500 pound steel steps" was legal. So, yeah...the match was not very compelling, as the rules hindered the flow of the match between the two behemoths with the finish coming as Erick Rowan's violently crashed through the "Stonehenge"-like step formation he created outside of the ring. Even watching this match back one month later makes it appear not so much bizarre or bad, but just shocking that WWE's creative team tried and failed in such an epic manner.
