10 Wrestling Matches You Won't Believe Happened In 2015
8. Kevin Nash, Asylum & John McChesney Vs. Gangrel, Krimson & War Child (International Wrestling Cartel, April 11)
Pennsylvania's International Wrestling Cartel may not be one of the best-known independent promotions in the U.S., but the fact that they booked a main event tag team match featuring both Kevin Nash and Gangrel has to count for something. After a business flop as WWE Champion in the mid-90s, Nash jumped to WCW, where he became a true superstar and helped revitalize pro wrestling. Meanwhile, Gangrel traveled the territories, embracing a dark and vampiric - no, you know what? I can't try and draw parallels between Kevin Nash and Gangrel. There are none. I can only marvel at the fact that they - along with four no-name teammates - did battle in a high school gymnasium in 2015. In case you were wondering or cared, Nash's team won. What an odd match this sounds like.
