10 Wrestling Moments EVERYONE Expected To Happen (That Never Did)

In a moment that feels as though it went down in a different part of the multiverse at this point, May 2020 saw none other than Mike Tyson pick a fight with AEW's Chris Jericho on a simply bizarre edition of Dynamite.

And after (sort of) tearing his shirt off and gurning at Le Champion as the two discussed Tyson's KO-ing of Jericho in the middle of a ring ten years earlier, a brawl soon broke out between The Inner Circle and Iron Mike's crew.

Tyson's words after the scuffle of "this is not over" felt like as clear an indication as any that this was surely leading to some sort of celebrity showdown between Jericho and the boxing icon on an All Elite PPV at some stage in the future.

But by the time 2020 was done, there was still no sign of any Jericho vs. Tyson bout.

As The Sports Entertainer would ultimately explain, the Tyson match was planned to go down at All Out 2020 in September at one point. Unfortunately, though, all involved simply couldn't get it done in time.

Yet, with Tyson still popping up on All Elite programming from time to time, maybe there's still hope for this boxing/wrestling crossover bout that's been over a decade in the making.
