10 Wrestling Moves That Look Like They Could Legitimately Kill You

7. Dominator

Farooq's finishing move, the Dominator, is one of the least often-hit finishers in WWE history, because it was horrifically and inevitably painful. The former Ron Simmons' move tended to be countered and avoided far more than it was delivered, but when it worked, it involved him lifting an opponent face-up onto his shoulder, then slamming them face-down to the mat.

Its brutality stemmed from the face the impact was straight down with a lot of oomph from Farooq's brawny delivery, and directly to the opponent's face.

The young Hardy Boys were two of the few souls willing to get Dominated, and one notable Dominator to Jeff went wrong, dumping him on the back of his neck instead of the marginally less horrific face and chest.

Especially when done to the willowy young Jeff, the Dominator looked more like attempted murder than a wrestling move, and was always sold as such in the ring.
