10 Wrestling Parodies That Became Real

5. Jim Ross Spits Fire Verses

On May 23, 2010, an enterprising YouTuber by the avatar 'Jay Dan Loera' created or uploaded a spliced parody version of Jim Ross' commentary in the boy-popping form of a rap entitled 'My Ass'.

A legendary viral hit, it's so goddamn juvenile as to be universal in its appeal; much like the sound of a well-timed bodily function or the sight of an old geezer falling over, nobody can listen to its hip hop tropes and maverick editing without laughing.

"Look at the confident expression on my ass."

Perhaps somebody listened to this send-up when pitching that Ross and Michael Cole engage in a rap battle, as part of the weird feud, on the 2011 Slammy Awards. This wasn't quite as funny.

A visibly uncomfortable Ross, urged on by Booker T - best not think of why he was selected to endorse this - attempted to take Michael Cole to school. The problem is that he forgot the word "school". He didn't need no music - cue generic hip-hop beat, immediately, likely teed up by Vince McMahon in a further bid to take the piss - to spit his supa hot fire.

"Michael Cole, you're a damn fool. The King beat you like a government mule. I should be calling RAW..."

He forgot his line. He tried to think of another - "'Cause you ain't got no talent" - selecting the one word other than orange with no natural rhyme.

I should be calling RAW in my ass.

Still a preferable sound to Cole's forced shrieking.
