10 Wrestling Returns That Would Improve WWE TV

6. Batista

At 49 years old, Batista isn't the same "Animal" who rampaged through WWE, quickly found his feet as a headliner and worked stellar matches against Triple H, The Undertaker and John Cena around a decade ago. Although nobody can turn back the clock, Batista success in Hollywood would get some more eyes on the WWE product.

That alone is a decent reason to think about bringing him back.

WWE would have to learn from past mistakes if they brought Batista back into the mix. His 2014 Royal Rumble win was ill-advised amidst Daniel Bryan fever, and it ultimately hurt the impact his comeback had. This time around (if he doesn't have a kid-friendly movie to promote) Batista would suit a part-time gig as a bitter heel who wanted revenge on Bryan for stealing his spotlight.

Why not? The man himself has repeatedly stated in interviews that he'd need a good story if he was ever going to come back. Gunning down the recently-returned Bryan would be just that, and it'd give Batista some closure on a period that was clearly bothersome to him.

Besides, the feud would be better than Bryan's ongoing issues with Big Cass.
