According to Mick Foley, who memorably recounted the following tale in his first autobiography, Mick Foley and €˜Stunning€™ Steve Austin decided to completely ruin the life of €˜Diamond€™ Dallas Page, sometime in 1993.

A series of jokes, ribs and gags had Page reeling, but weren€™'t quite enough to €˜crack€™ him entirely. Hiding most of the hotel room€™s towels nearly got him as well, but Dallas, an intense, but generally upbeat guy, didn€™t quite go for it.

Finally, after completing an elaborate bedtime ritual, Page retired for the night, unaware that the pair of pranksters had one more gag up their sleeves...

Foley writes;

"Earlier, a fan had given us a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies that she had baked. While Dallas showered, Steve and I had dumped approximately thirty-six soft chewy beauties between the sheets of DDP€™'s bed, and now as he lay there I could tell that those delicious tollhouses were starting to take effect. It started with a little wriggle, and then grew to the point where he knew something was wrong. €˜What, what, what€™s this€™ Dallas said, to no one in particular. Steve and I remained silent. Suddenly, it hit him. €˜There€™s f*cking cookies in my bed€™, he yelled. €˜Someone put f*cking cookies in my bed€™. Silence. Dallas was now screaming at the top of his lungs. €˜I want to know who put f*cking cookies in my bed, right now!€™ I soon gave myself away. I was laughing so hard under my covers that I couldn€™t help myself€."

According to Foley, Page, who liked to sleep naked, went completely crazy and began hurling cookie debris all over Mick. When the man known as €˜Cactus Jack€™ wouldn'€™t stop laughing, Page jumped on him and tried to grind the cookies into his skin.

The image of a naked DDP sitting on a semi naked Mick Foley and angrily rubbing cookies into his skin is, admittedly, a tough one to shake. Sorry about that.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
