10 Wrestling Secrets Everyone Knows Except You

1. Sasha Banks' 2020 Numbers

If and when Sasha Banks leaves WWE, she'll do so with an in-ring legacy to rival any in company history.

If the company never again shows footage of one of her classics, it doesn't mean they won't all be kept safely within the Peacock/Network archives, and thus celebrated again and again by audiences that'll remain in awe of what she accomplished. Yet, if anything, the company undersold Banks' contributions even when she was still in their good books - a company known for leaking fast nationals to co-opted members of the media didn't spend nearly enough time over the years mentioning that 'The Boss' was a draw.

2.5 million people tuned to into the November 8th 2020 edition of SmackDown thanks to the promise of one final battle over the Women's Championship between 'The Blueprint' and Bayley after months of carefully-plotted story between the two. This number remains better than any Roman Reigns has managed since returning earlier that year to run SmackDown, and, even more notably, more than anything the company has been able to post since crowds returned.

She made a habit of this during the hardest year to keep audience attention too - one of NXT's only claims to fame in a one-sided Wednesday Night War was when the show claimed a ratings victory over Dynamite and its demo-god Chris Jericho for her Great American Bash battle with Io Shirai.
