7. Chris Jericho Calls Out The Revival's Shatter Machine

Before deciding to add the Codebreaker to his arsenal upon making himself known inside of Vince McMahon's empire, Ricochet famously asked Chris Jericho for his permission to use what many perceived as his finisher. Le Champion was more than happy to give the superhuman star his blessing on this occasion.

However, the same cannot be said for a certain pair of stars who currently ply their trade inside of AEW.

Coming back when all three men were recognised more for their exploits in WWE, The Demo God called out The then-Revival for apparently ripping off the aforementioned Codebreaker when Cash Wheeler tweeted a gif of the two executing their Shatter Machine finisher - now known as Big Rig in honour of the late Brodie Lee.

Rather hilariously, this comment then led to NXT General Manager William Regal piping up and putting the former Undisputed WWE World Champion in his place, with the Brit tweeting "The tens of thousands of us that came before you are all thankful you invented everything Chris. Again, thank you."

And for the record, it was none other than Japanese star Naomichi Marufuji who was the originator of said manoeuvre, something Wheeler even acknowledges by apologising to him instead.

Jericho has since acknowledged his folly.
