10 Wrestling Stalker Angles

1. Diamond Dallas Page And Sara

In the summer of 2001, suspicious videos began airing on WWE programming. They featured The Undertaker's wife Sara and were clearly shot on handheld cameras by an amateur. A creepy voice, shrouded in mystery thanks to a voice manipulator, swooned over the married woman as she lived her every day life, going to the grocery store or taking a dip in the pool. For weeks, the videos aired, drawing the ire of the American Badass, who demanded to know who had invaded his private life in such a manner. After all, he had been tested before but no one had ever been stupid enough to target his family. Finally, on the June 18 episode of Raw, the stalker vowed to reveal himself. But who would it be? There were numerous conspiracy theories but even the craziest failed to live up to what fans actually witnessed unfold as the assailant rode to the ring on a motorcycle, entered the squared circle and revealed himself to be...Vince McMahon. "IT WAS ME ALL ALONG, AUSTIN!" Okay, so it wasn't Vince but the resolution to the story was equally as puzzling and nonsensical as the married Diamond Dallas Page removed the ski mask from his head and shocked the wrestling world. He went into a big long tangent, then made things even worse (and more ludicrous) when he constructed a shrine to Sara. Now, he not only infuriated the Phenom, he also earned the wrath of Kane, the Big Red Monster brother of destruction as volatile and violent as his older sibling. He recruited Kanyon for backup but the former WCW had no chance. Page stalked someone close to the biggest badass in professional wrestling and it was time to endure the punishment and suffering he had earned. At King of the Ring, he tasted a bit of what it felt like to step inside the squared circle with the Undertaker, enduring a beating that sent him scurrying. Page would not be so lucky at SummerSlam, where he was trapped inside a steel cage to suffer at the hands of the Brothers of Destruction. And he did. To make matters worse, he would be pinned by Sara herself one night later on Raw, bringing an end to any credibility he may have had as a future main event star in WWE and, at the same time, concluding the ridiculously one-sided feud that never really saw him stand a chance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkV67VCfpOg
