10 Wrestling Talents That Were Immediately Buried By WWE
9. Husky Harris
Yes, this is cheating because Windham Rotunda, the man behind the Husky Harris character, is doing alright for himself currently as Bray Wyatt. However, knowing what Bray Wyatt is now, and what WWE thought they had with Windham when they packaged him as Husky Harris, it warrants inclusion on this list. Harris was part of the second season of NXT along with such tremendous talents as Eli Cottonwood and Lucky Cannon. He had an awful name and no real backstory, and was billed as the Sherman Tank with the Ferrari Engine, which was a nice tagline, but had no real substance behind it. It didnt help that he was given little-to-no promo time. After Season 2 ended, he along with Michael McGillicutty (who somehow had an even worse name than he did) joined the Nexus, and still had no time to develop his character. Before we knew it, Harris was punted in the head by Randy Orton and taken off television indefinitely. Thankfully, WWE gave Windham Rotunda a second chance, and with some tweaking in NXT, we were given Bray Wyatt. The success of Wyatt highlights even more how badly the ball was dropped with Husky Harris.
