10 Wrestling Themes That Are Actually Good Songs

1. Fabulous Freebirds - Badstreet USA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ2WAgL_cDM Not many theme songs are suited for listening to when outside of the wrestling sphere but one mid-80€™s cracker is the exception to the rule. The highly revered, NWA tag-team The Fabulous Freebirds burst onto the wrestling scene when the glitz and glamour wasn€™t as focused on the individual talent but more on the spectacle as a whole. Their flamboyant in-ring ability was matched only by their cool, hair metal image which made them stand out from the rest of the pack. Arguably the coolest facet of this renegade team however was their straight-up badass theme song 'Badstreet USA'. Recorded by Michael Hayes and the Badstreet Band, this is the most complete and well rounded an entrance song has sounded in the industry - from it's driving riff refrain to its dynamic vocal delivery, this track has got it all (even a finger peeling guitar solo for the outro). It was the perfect fit for a team that didn't play by the rules and it punctuated the brash bravado that would help take them to the top of the business. Wrestling fan or no wrestling fan, 'Badstreet USA' stands up on artistic merit alone. As of writing, this dynamic duo has just been announced as two of the latest inductees for this year's Hall Of Fame meaning 'Badstreet USA' could yet again take the wrestling business by storm come April.
