10 Wrestling Worst Nightmares Right Now

6. Randy Orton Doesn't Enter The Firefly Fun House

The Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt angle is such a living nightmare that it seems glib to include something about it in a hypothetical list about things getting worst. Really, this is a plea for a happy ending to the whole wretched affair.

If Randy Orton is forced to face his past and present in The Fiend's Firefly Fun House at WrestleMania, it will go a long way to undoing their chronic title match at the 'Show Of Shows' back in 2017, and at least provide a sense of closure to a storyline that apparently wasn't tied up with the brutal flaming murder of one of the combatants.

Less flippantly, the concept was a roaring success with John Cena last year, and few on the roster are better positioned for a similar spot than 'The Apex Predator'. As well as referencing the aforementioned WrestleMania match between the two, Wyatt can relish making Orton face some of the demons he's casually enjoyed bantering off for the duration of his career.

Orton's even said as much in promos just last year. The Fiend could actually be the reckoning this character deserves in spite of how sh*t the feud has been up to this point. Fear for the future of the character (again) if he doesn't.
