While the main roster's Women's Tag Team Championship division is drifting along with thrown together teams, NXT's parallel division has been built upon strong teams with tangible links (and therefore chemistry) between the women involved - although it could be argued that Io Shirai and Zoey Stark are an exception.
Current NXT Women's Tag Team Champion's Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) are keeping the division fresh and thriving, though a suitable babyface team is needed to further the division's growth and relevance. The ideal candidates are already in place and building up steam in the division.
Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter already have two wins over the current champs and are increasingly proving themselves to be adept in the art of professional wrestling. Alongside this the charismatic duo are real life best friends, whose authentic charisma and natural harmony invites fans in. The two's energy is infectious; a credit to them as it is often hard for babyfaces to pull fans in with positivity.
Both women have been with WWE since 2018 and, though they have challenged for the NXT Women's Championships, gold has proved allusive. Kacy and Kayden should be booked to take the fight to the heel champs and make 2022 their year...
