10 WWE & AEW Wrestlers Who Have Benefitted From The Empty Arena Era
5. Jade Cargill
On one hand, it’s cheating a little to say that Jade Cargill has thrived during the Empty Arena Era, as empty (or at least under capacity) arenas are all she’s known. On the other hand, to debut during such crazy times for a wrestling promotion and still manage to establish yourself as one of the division’s most exciting stars is no mean feat.
Joining a company and instantly receiving a steady push is always a high pressure undertaking, but when your first match sees you tagging with one Shaquille O’Neal, you know you’re truly in the big-time spotlight. Cargill could easily have crumbled here, yet she instead exuded confidence and fit right into a match - Jade and Shaq vs. Cody and Red Velvet - that was far better than it had any right to be.
Cargill has been used sparingly since, but every time we catch a glimpse of the former basketball player, there’s no doubting she’s a superstar in the making. She’s pitched as a heel and has been given plenty of fiendish spots, but she’s too cool to remain in that position for too long. From her physique to her unflappable demeanour and ever-improving promos, Jade Cargill can’t be denied.
