From mind games to physical altercation, we have that time Jericho straight up punched Shawn Michaels' wife.

Towards the end of their legendary feud of the 2008, 'Y2J' and 'HBK' already had an incredibly personal rivalry built up. Between Michaels genuinely acting like the heel & still being cheered and Jericho smashing Shawn's face into the Jeritron 6000 & damaging his eye, these two had plenty enough reasons to be going at it.

SummerSlam saw 'The Showstopper' come out and address the audience with his wife beside him, bearing the news that his eye injury would force him into (kayfabe) retirement. Jericho would eventually come out and find himself at the ridiculing hands of Michaels, to which he responded with a balled-up hand of his own.

Jericho went to punch Shawn, but after Michaels had ducked, said punch ended up landing directly into the head of Rebecca, Shawn's wife. Perhaps one of the most shocking moments of the entire year, their feud elevated to a height where an Unsanctioned match was necessary just to put the rivalry to bed.

Unfortunate bonus points for Jericho throwing a potato and actually landing that punch too...
