Whereas having an almost flawless physique counts for more than it should to WWE top brass, it is seldom enough in the eyes of the fans. However, being the son of a former world champion should give a would-be grappler that added bit of legitimacy. It didn't for poor Shawn Stasiak.

Though taking the name 'Stasiak' away from him may have lowered the pressure of living up to his veritable father Stan, turning the second-generation star into a sex-slave and calling him 'Meat' did him no favours.

Honestly, a sex-slave called 'Meat'. Doesn't sound too appetising does it? It wasn't, as Stasiak was forced to play second fiddle as the personal boy-toy to the execrable Pretty Mean Sisters, often blaming defeats on being worn out from their pre-match sexual exploits. It wasn't long before a programme involving Beaver Cleavage signaled the end of his entirely forgettable run.

After covertly recording a row between Davey Boy Smith and Steve Blackman, Stasiak received his marching orders in 1999. The rotten taste of Meat was gone.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
