10 WWE Blade Jobs That Turned Nasty

1. Eddie Guerrero - Judgment Day 2004

Here's a pattern. Back-track one solid year to the previous edition of Judgment Day and you'll find another WWE Title match main event where the opponent of JBL shipped a bucket-load of blood to make the match remarkable- this time the late great Eddie Guerrero. It's a match that has been referenced many times since. Eddie took an extremely stiff chair shot from JBL and followed up by cutting so deep into his forehead, his chest was drenched in seconds. By the time the match ended, Eddie's skin was red-washed with blood, making him look like something from The Smurfs, had they got the pallet the wrong way round. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjrjd2_wwe-judgementday-2004-eddy-guerrerro-vs-jbl_sport Eddie was taken to hospital after this bout and didn't wrestle any matches for two weeks after on doctor's orders whilst he recovered his strength, only indicating the severity to which Eddie bladed. The live crowd eventually rallied behind Eddie... but only after their initial revulsion at the fountain of blood that was constantly seeping from his forehead, staining their canvas of art red.
