10 WWE Booking Steps For Bray Wyatt Vs Sting

1. WrestleMania And Ending The Feud

The two meet in what is billed as an "unsanctioned" match, which means WWE is not responsible for whatever happens to either man. The fight spills out into the crowd and through the arena. At one point, Sting is attacked by Harper and Rowan, but he uses his bat to fight them off. He and Bray fight their way back to the ring. The finish sees Sting lock Bray in the scorpion deathlock, but with Bray refusing to give up. Sting keeps the hold on Bray for longer than any Superstar has endured (think Austin in Wrestlemania 13) but Bray doesn't quit, and he doesn't pass out either. Sting eventually relinquishes the hold and the fight continues, but by this point, Bray's legs have taken so much punishment that he cannot stand. Sting kicks Bray in the legs over and over. Bray tries to fight back but can't. The referee calls the match and names Sting the winner. Bray rolls out of the ring and crawls to the back while Sting celebrates in the ring. For the next few weeks, Bray uses a wheelchair to get to the ring and cuts promos saying Sting beat him, but didn't break him. He says once he is healed, he will destroy the scorpion. By the next pay per view, he is healed enough to face Sting again. This time Bray is victorious. The two have a rubber match at the next pay per view where Bray wins again, officially going over the Icon. This gives Sting his WrestleMania moment, which he is due, and ultimately puts over Wyatt, who will surely have a few WrestleMania moments of his own in the years to come. What do you think of our booking? Would you want to see a feud between Sting and Wyatt? How would you book it differently? Let us know in the comments.

Yes, my last name is pronounced exactly as it's spelled. Just like "going to the store". ;) I am an aspiring writer currently working on my first novel, which is GOING to be awesome once it's published. (See what I did there?) I love reading, am a HUGE film buff (who welcomes all trivia challenges), and never miss a New York Giants football game. I'm an open book so if there is anything else you'd like to know about me, just ask.
