10 WWE Booking Steps For Bray Wyatt Vs Dean Ambrose Feud
4. Mick Foley In-Ring Promo With Dean Ambrose
Mick Foley would return to confront Dean Ambrose regarding Hell in a Cell at Wrestlemania with Bray Wyatt. Foley would explain to Ambrose that wrestling Bray Wyatt in Hell in a Cell could lead to Ambrose being hurt worse than Foley was at the hands of The Undertaker. He'd call Wyatt "a sadist," and explain that if Ambrose wanted to be a "crippled old man like was," he'd go through with it. However, Foley would explain that he saw "great things" in Ambrose's future, and that fighting Wyatt wasn't a smart idea. Of course, Ambrose would call Foley out on his statement, correctly pointing out that Foley wouldn't've become champion if he based his career around rational decision-making. This would lead to Ambrose kicking Foley in the gut to set up for Dirty Deeds, but Harper and Rowan would actually save Foley, beating down Ambrose while Foley watched in a corner as Bray Wyatt held him back and told him to watch what was happening. The notion of an angry babyface (Ambrose) wanting to assault another babyface (Foley) with the heels making the save to force the babyface (Foley) to watch what he portended happening actually happen is both unique and compelling.
