8. Big Show Vs. Shaq

We got a glimpse of these two behemoths at WrestleMania 32 in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. They cleared the ring together by shoving and double chokeslamming the other competitors, only to intensely stare each other down before the other competitors ganged up and eliminated them from the match.

In a post-match interview with Renee Young, Shaq challenged Big Show to a match somewhere down the line. The two teased a match at WrestleMania 33 for a whole year but the seven-footers never ended up taking on one another on The Grandest Stage of Them All and Big Show was relegated to WrestleMania 33’s Andre the Giant Battle Royal once again.

Shaq would later blame WWE on his podcast for the match falling through the cracks, claiming WWE “messed it up” and how they kept continuously changing their plans only for Shaq to stop returning their calls after getting annoyed by it all.

Big Show later rebutted and said it was on Shaq and his sudden weight gain for the match not happening.

It’s probably for the best these two never squared off. As entertaining as both are, there’s a strong chance a match between these two giants would have been awful. It would have made Show vs. Akebono at WrestleMania 21 look like a wrestling clinic.
