4. The Miz (November 2010- May 2011)
Oh for Gods sake. Things I will concede about Mike Mizanin. 1. He has worked and continues to work incredibly hard. 2, He is probably the most improved wrestler from debut to now that I have ever seen. 3. In the right circumstances he can have some good matches. Okay, now that's over with, what exactly the thought process was behind Miz as champion I cannot fathom. What you had was a guy you had molded (very well) into a credible tag team champion and then, even better a credible United States champion and then you ruined it by assuming because he was a credible United States champion he could transition into WWE champion overnight. This was not and indeed is not the case. Miz looked permanently out of place in his role as champion and reminded me of a child wearing his father's shoes. His tedious Wrestlemania main event against John Cena confirmed the worst fears, he was completely unprepared for the magnitude of the role and shortly after Wrestlemania was replaced as champion. To date he has not been seriously considered to hold the title again and probably won't be for a long time to come.
