10 WWE Characters Only Created For ONE Feud
2. Zeus (Hulk Hogan)
If you've never had the pleasure, go and watch 1989's 'No Holds Barred' as soon as possible. It's so gloriously over-the-top, and will either enchant you with cartoonish WWF charm or make you laugh your arse off and wonder why anyone enjoyed it.
Be warned though, because you might not be prepared for that Zeus follow-up on actual WWF TV. At SummerSlam '89, 'The Human Wrecking Machine' teamed up with Randy Savage against Hulk Hogan and his pal Brutus 'Barber' Beefcake (or "Beefcake Barber" as Zeus called him). It was OTT, it was silly, and it was the only feud Zeus had.
That's quite astonishing in retrospect.
No, Zeus didn't offer much inside the ring, but the guy was a musclebound freak that Vince McMahon surely loved. It's a bit surprising that he didn't do more with the character after another big tag match at Survivor Series.
