The balls on this.

Vince McMahon is often criticised for no longer having the "grapefruits" his character once boasted, but it took almighty plums to promote a video game come to life for a Brock Lesnar/Goldberg dream rematch only to set it to the hardest difficulty mode and reset completely within 86 seconds. It was a booking masterstroke.

12 years after a catastrophic maiden swing at Big Bill's gimmick and nearly 20 after he'd shook the wrestling world to its core in WCW, 'Da Man' returned for one last run that ended up as one of the best return programmes in company history. In like a lion and out like...a bigger lion, Goldberg's unthinkable victory over a 'Beast' at the peak of his powers threatened to infuriate the fanbase, but the ginormous risk paid off.

Goldberg battered Brock again at the Royal Rumble then steamrolled Kevin Owens to win the Universal Title. Brock winning a true battle of the behemoths was the match of the night on a bloated WrestleMania 33 undercard - all birthed by the emphatic Survivor Series squash.
