WWE are keeping USA Network sweet because they've done the same for them with such a healthy rights deal on Raw. All while trying to tell Fox that they're still their one and only, because the prospect of that deal going south doesn't bear thinking about. Those f*cking Saudi Arabia shows are happening, right the way through to 2028 because there's 450,000,000, pal.
Talent, for a change, gets to feel some of the trickle down.
The impending doom of losing an established name to AEW has actually resulted in the company paying big to keep folk on the books. Contracts are in the conversation this year for the first time in forever, regardless of Seth Rollins' concerns about somebody pinching his dinner.
Not to sound cruel about the 'Modern Day Maharaja', but the five-year deal Jinder Mahal signed in May should highlight how valuable absolutely everybody is to the organisation - more so now than just about any other period this decade.
