10 WWE Divas Who Wrestled The Men

8. Sable

The Diva most responsible for the introduction of raw sexuality to WWE programming during the Atttiude Era, Sable is one of the most popular women in wrestling history. It was that popularity that caused an irreparable schism in her relationship with Marc Mero, who returned from injury to find her "stealing his spotlight," as he put it. By the spring of 1998, the tension between the valet and her charge had grown to such a level that she could barely stand to be in the same vicinity as him. Sable was clearly the bigger star and as long as she was associated with Mero, she would never be able to attain the stardom she deserved. After being cost the first-ever Evening Gown match at Unforgiven, Sable set out to settle her differences with Mero once and for all at Over The Edge in May 1998. She promised to find an opponent for Mero and if her chosen representative lost, she would leave WWE for good. When she arrived in Milwaukee, she did so seemingly prepared to fight, She revealed that she would represent herself, the proceeded to lay down, allowing Mero to pin her. It was not the first time, nor was it the last, that the blonde bombshell would step foot inside a squared circle for an official match. She had partnered with Mero to defeat Goldust and Luna at WrestleMania XIV and would team with Edge to defeat Mero and Jacqueline at SummerSlam that August. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3xy4o_sable-marc-mero-vs-luna-goldust_sport
