10 WWE Divas You Totally Forgot Ever Existed

9. Katie Lea Burchill

paul burchill A note about Vince McMahon €“ for years, it seemed as if he's wanted to run an incest angle. He's alluded to it (Mark Henry, Beaver Cleaver, and so on), and proposed angles that never made TV (Ken and Ryan Shamrock in 1999, and later a family member as the father of Stephanie McMahon's baby), but he never quite got his chance. In 2008, it looked like he would finally get the opportunity to see it though when English wrestler Katarina Waters became Katie Lea Burchill, sister of former pirate Paul Burchill. Paul was very protective of his sister, all while heeding her every demand. "What Katie wants, Katie gets," he would say. Sadly for McMahon, in the summer of 2008, WWE signed a lucrative toy contract with Mattel, and as a result, all of their programming became TV-PG. The angle with the Burchills, which hadn't yet evolved past the "mild insinuation" stage, was dropped. Now, Paul and Katie were nothing but a pair of jerk siblings. Still, they were both talented. Katie contended for the Women's Championship, but was unable to capture the title. Both Burchills moved to ECW, where they played medium-sized fish in a small pond. When the brand shut down in early 2010, Paul was released. Two months later, Katie followed.
