7. Jerry 'The King' Lawler
Something needs to change with WWE's announce teams and taking the shackles off The King would be a fine place to start. Ask any fan who lived through the years preceding the Attitude Era about Lawler and they will only speak in glowing terms. He took things to another level once again during the Attitude Era which he wouldn't be allowed to do today, but looking at his work during the more cartoonish days of WWE, you could definately see that working today. JBL has that role, sort of, in today's product. He's the man that gets behind the heels yet remains very popular with the WWE Universe. Back then, Lawler was vilified from start to finish. In reality, Lawler doesn't offer a great deal these days. His legacy is seemingly the only thing that keeps him behind the desk on SmackDown and pay per views. Letting him roam free and taking up the heel character of yesterday would be potentially life saving for the WWE's announce team.
