5. Ronda Rousey Isn't A Fan Of The Boos (2018)
Ronda Rousey pretty much did everything you could in a WWE ring during her fantastic year with the company from 2018 to 2019.
She stole the show at WrestleMania 34. Won her first Raw Women's title soon after. She even got a decent match out of Nia Jax.
It appeared that the 'Baddest Woman on the Planet' could do no wrong in a WWE ring.
That was until she took aim at the "skinny jeans wearing, v-neck sporting, avocado toast munching, winged shoe wearing millennial man" in a backstage promo en route to taking on SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch at Survivor Series 2018.
Clearly the former UFC star didn't endear herself to some sections of the WWE Universe in that moment and after the conclusion of her eventual dream match with Charlotte Flair at the PPV, those very same sections let her know how they felt about her.
Visually devastated by the boos, Rousey could be heard telling one fan "you're not a man" as she whimpered backstage. Yet, this proved to be a blessing in disguise, as she eventually leaned into the boos and dialled up the divisive elements of her character for the remainder of her time on television.
Rousey's WWE career took a turn on this night and some would say that it was even the making of her as a top performer in the company. However, there's no denying that she was initially deeply affected by the crowd's unpleasant response towards her after a career-best match.
