10 WWE Finishers Leftover From Old Gimmicks

8. Chris Jericho - Lionsault

It's been a long time since Chris Jericho was a "Lionheart", but then as the master of wrestling reinvention it's no surprise he's taken plenty from prior personas into the version of himself he portrays today.

Jericho's springboard moonsault kept the name beyond his days in Mexico, ECW, WCW and even WWE to reach AEW along with other former finishers (more on that later) that speak to a different time in his persona's diverse and varied life.

Oddly enough, it's the sort of name that could well take on a different meaning as he enters his 50's working a semi-regular schedule. Once sporting the heart of a lion because he was young and brave, the babyface elder statesmen could boast a level of determination younger peers haven't yet managed to unlock. As much as being the organ that drives his continued success, his heart could be the biggest target for pr*ck heels like MJF to try and rip out, making a f*cking moonsault from the middle ropes all the more gratifying when it connects.

And that's if he even needs it...
