10 WWE Finishers Leftover From Old Gimmicks

2. Bray Wyatt - Sister Abigail

Technically still part of his world (because everything and nothing is), Sister Abigail had been killed in a fire started by Randy Orton, embodied by Bray himself and even converted into a cartoonish puppet before The Fiend used the move named after her to defeat an already-decimated Finn Bálor at SummerSlam 2019.

It's just one of the disconnects between the character and wrestler that has undermined Wyatt somewhat in every stage of his post-2013 main roster career. It's deeply unfair to classify him as a bad wrestler, but it'd be a little more accurate to call him a boring one. The finisher - over as it was and perhaps still is - was part of the largely uninteresting arsenal his persona had before the upgraded version chainsawed him to bits in the Firefly Fun House.

It's unclear why he chose to keep it around after doing such a good job of co-opting the legendary Mandible Claw, but the character's persistent returns to its checkered past in 2020 suggests he'll revisit more than just finishers to keep his future tethered to his grim past.
