When it seemed as though a WrestleMania 34 opportunity was going to bypass him in early 2018 (yeh, right), John Cena began to grow desperate.

He'd already failed in his efforts to earn a Universal Title shot at February's Elimination Chamber, and so turned his attentions to possible spots over on SmackDown. Was he going to participate in Fastlane's six-pack challenge for the WWE Title?

According to his on-screen graphic, nope: he was after the tag straps, having become the Bludgeon Brothers. What a blunder.
