4. Bryan Goes The Distance

The main event of WWE's first major Saudi show was the titular "Greatest Royal Rumble"; a fifty-man version of the over-the-top rope tradition. To fill out the field, WWE brought in a number of unusual names including Hornswoggle, Babatunde (now Commander Azeez) and Hiroki Sumi, a sumo wrestler allegedly brought in because The Crown Prince wanted to see Yokozuna despite the fact that he'd been dead for nearly two decades.

The standout performer in this match was the man who entered at number one. Daniel Bryan had just come back from what was thought to be a career-ending injury, but was wasting no time in testing his body in the ring. The American Dragon remained in the match until the final three, lasting a whopping 1 hour and 16 minutes.

Safe to say, Bryan smashed the Rumble longevity record with one of the best Iron Man performances in the match's history. He wrestled his heart out in this match - incredible, considering he had been "retired" at the beginning of the year. Whilst his WrestleMania 34 match might have been his official in-ring return, this was the match that proved Daniel Bryan was back.
