10 WWE Legends Embarrassed By Their Own Matches

10. Trish Stratus (8 July 2002 Raw)

Poor Trish.

She looked so confident as she strolled into the ring with Bradshaw for a short TV tag match against Christopher Nowinski and Jackie Gayda on the 8 July 2002 episode of Raw. The guys kicked the bout off, but then everything went to sh*t when a nervy Gayda tagged in and Stratus tried to wrestle her.

It became obvious quickly that Jackie was greener than the money Trish ended up making for developing into an accomplished worker. Back in '02 though, she was ill-prepared to lead anyone through a match if they didn't have the first clue what they were doing, and Stratus was visibly ticked off when the referee raised her hand.

Gayda blew everything they had planned, and it was a total mess. Trish has recalled this nightmare several times over the years, and she chalks it up to experience now. At the time, she probably wanted the ground to swallow her up.
