At least Kurt Angle had a bright future to look forward to when his pay-per-view debut flopped. By 2001's King Of The Ring, poor Diamond Dallas Page could only stare back at his glory days in WCW and wonder why he'd agreed to a buyout of his AOL/Time Warner contract to join the WWF in 2001.

It wouldn't be worth it.

After being badly rethought as a stalker who wanted The Undertaker to make an example of him ("Make Me Famous"), DDP was then swept aside in a one-sided brawl that wasn't even on the official card. The message was clear: WCW's biggest stars were no match for the WWF's premier names, and Page was barely in the same league as 'Taker.

All he could hope to do was catch The Undertaker's attention by threatening his wife Sara, and none of that added up to fans who did know Page's history. In '01, he was still married to the smoking hot Kimberly Page of Nitro Girls fame, and he'd been one of WCW's headliners for years. Why did he suddenly become a creepy stalker obsessed with Sara?
