10 WWE-Like Moments In Real Sport

7. NFL - Ray Lewis Pre-Game

A good wrestling entrance can take many shapes. The atmospheric walks characterised by the likes of Kane and The Undertaker were integral in building a character, as were the more energetic approaches pioneered by the likes of the Ultimate Warrior.

Former NFL star Ray Lewis very clearly would have fit into that latter, more batsh*t category, had he joined many of his gridiron colleagues in transitioning to a pro wrestling career. The Baltimore Ravens legend was famous for his attempts to psych up his teammates and fans with a cartoonishly intense routine upon his emergence from the tunnel, complete with screams, power poses, and WWE style pyrotechnics.

The middle linebacker would sadly retire in 2012 after two Super Bowl victories, depriving fans of one of the most engaging characters in the game. With their talismanic number 52 departed, the Ravens have struggled to compete at the very top level ever since.
