10 WWE Matches Fans Couldn’t Give A Sh*t About After Watching A Classic

1. Jazz Vs Trish Stratus Vs Lita (WrestleMania 18)

Trish Stratus and Lita deserved the aforementioned spotlight they received at Toronto's Unforgiven 2006 pay-per-view. A Women's Title clash in an era where the battles were brittle was a rare honour and a tribute to the trials both had faced on their uphill struggles in the promotion. There was no night more telling of their tribulations than the one they spent with Jazz in the very same city four years earlier.

The three women were forced to perform in front of an utterly 68,237 following one of the company's most famous matches ever.

Focus on WrestleMania 18's failed endeavour often points first to the tepid main event between Triple H and Chris Jericho, but few recall the poor sods stuck with the immediate aftermath of the frenzy whipped up by The Rock and 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan. Jazz, Trish and Lita were desperately unlucky too, considering their game efforts to increase the prestige of a title abandoned outright by a departing Chyna less than a year earlier.

As painfully evidenced by the Undisputed Title show-closer, absolutely nothing had a chance of following a spectacle unlike almost anything the company have ever promoted. Stone Cold Steve Austin was thoroughly displeased with his lot at the show, but even he was happy to mither in the midcard rather than face the deafening silence destined to follow such a seismic skirmish.
