Praise the Lord that Seth Rollins didn't cash-in in his Money in the Bank briefcase before WrestleMania 31.

If he had done, then viewers at home would have been forced to sit through Roman Reigns beating Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship to a chorus of boos from the Bay Area crowd.

Reigns had been mercilessly shoved down audiences' throats as the next top star in WWE, something the fans did not take kindly to. When it became clear that he was going to end 'Mania 31 as champion, they started praying that a saviour would come.

Lo and behold, a messiah saved the day.

Rollins' dramatic insertion into the match via his briefcase was not agreed upon until the day of the show. Supposedly Seth himself only found that he was winning the title moments before it actually happened.

This didn't matter though, as "The Heist of the Century" has gone down as one of the greatest WrestleMania endings of all time. Rollins' cash-in helped turn a good show into a great one and everybody was happy.

Well, except Roman Reigns' family, who weren't told about the change of plans and were very upset about it.

Oops.
