10 WWE Matches That Outshone The Royal Rumble

10. The Hardy Boys vs. The Dudley Boys (2000)

As the new millennium dawned, it was far more hip to call these teams The Hardyz and The Dudleyz, because the letter 'z' is rad, right guys? Guys! Come back, the article has only started! In all seriousness, cool factor aside, Matt & Jeff Hardy and Bubba & D-Von Dudley were two of the best tag-teams around in the year 2000. Both tandems would go on to become integral parts of the TLC matches to come, along with Edge & Christian, but their Tag-Team Tables Match at the 2000 edition of the Royal Rumble deserves to sit alongside anything else from their respective bodies of work. The Hardy Boys had come of age during a Ladder Match offering from No Mercy 1999 just months before, but this is where things really started to take off, and it was clear that the tag division in WWE was about to be something special. Doctors nowadays would frown at the numerous chairshots to the head, or incredibly-dangerous bumps from ladders and through tables, but even though these guys went on second (following the debut of Tazz against Kurt Angle), it would take an almighty match to top them. More on that later.
